Reform UK becomes more popular than Liberal Democrats

Reform UK is a right-wing party in the UK who’s pledged to “Make Britain Great”. Their 4 main political objectives are the reformation of the economy via the decreasing of taxes for both individuals and corporations, the reformation of the energy sector by nationalizing 50% of key utility companies, and removing net-zero policies that do more harm than good to British people and the economy, reformation of the public sector by making sure government services fulfill their purpose such as border force stopping illegal immigrants from entering the country, educating children properly and reducing NHS wait times and finally the reformation of the UK’s Institutions like the unelected House of Lords, Civil service and the BBC.
According to Politico, Reform is the 3rd largest political party in the UK with Reform holding 12% of the vote. This is ahead of the liberal democrats at 9% and behind the Conservatives at 24%. Reform has grown due to the shift from typically Conservative voters choosing Reform. This is to make the Conservative’s next election manifesto more right-wing, to gain more votes. Labor is polling at 44% and is expected to win the next election and wipe out many conservative seats.

Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address

Joe Biden held his State of the Union address on March 7th, 2024 and the key message Biden was conveying was not any form of legislation, but his ability to speak for prolonged periods and his mental capability. Joe Biden spoke for over an hour and falsely blamed Republicans for the Immigration crisis on the Southern Border as well as complaining about the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade as well as concluding that Donald Trump is not an insurrectionist and can run for president. Following the murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old Nursing student in Georgia, by an Illegal Immigrant from Venezuela, Biden mentioned her name after Republicans in the US Capitol Building heckled him by exclaiming “Say her name!”. This came after he avoided mentioning her name and only alluded to her murder. Joe Biden effectively blamed the Republicans for not passing a border protection bill. Despite this Joe Biden could have passed an executive order to significantly reduce the flow of illegal immigrants which is what Trump did during his presidency. Additionally, 9 Supreme Court justices, 100%, ruled that Trump could run on the Colorado ballot after the state un-constitutionally removed him from it.
